We are looking for Spanish tutors in Barcelona to teach Spanish as a Foreign Language (Español como Lengua Extranjera, ELE) to our students (mainly English-speaking) worldwide. All classes are taught online via Skype, so you can be based anywhere in Barcelona.

with native proficiency in Spanish language & who can also communicate in English

since we conduct business in English and it's the language that most of our customers speak. 

• Skype account since all classes are delivered online via Skype.
• Good broadband internet connection at home. 
• Quiet and professional workspace at home.
• Headset equipped with a microphone and an ear piece.

• Native proficiency in Spanish language, with a standard accent
• Able to communicate in a 2nd language (English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, etc) 
• University degree in Spanish language, Spanish literature, Translation, Journalism, Philosophy, etc
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience 
• Passionate about languages; Creative, Fun and Energetic
• Presentable, Mature and Positive-minded
• Responsible, Friendly, Open-minded and Culturally-sensitive
• Non-confrontational and Uncomplicated 
• Computer-savvy, comfortable with the use of technology
• Easily reachable and fast with email and phone replies

• Online one-to-one private lesson

• Select and use appropriate learning materials.
• Make appropriate lesson plans based on student needs
• Create new learning materials for individual needs.
• Assess students’ level during trial lessons. 
• Provide oral and, if necessary, written feedback to students.
• Provide progress reports to parents on a regular basis. 
• Prepare students for various Spanish exams.
• Carry out relevant administrative tasks related to teaching.
• Attend online professional training as and when required.
• Attend meetings as required.
• Be a positive ambassador for Spanish Faster.

• You decide your preferred working day and time. 
• You have to stick to a regular weekly schedule.
• Classes can be between 1h, 1.5h, 2h and 3h duration. 
• You can take a 5 min break for 2h and 3h lessons.
• We require a minimum 1 year commitment from you. 
• You must be able to commit at least 7 hours per week.
• You must inform us 3 months in advance about your holidays.
• You can chose the age group and students level.

• We pay a very competitive hourly rate.
• You are not paid for trial lessons (we also give it free to potential students). 
• Payment is through Paypal or bank transfer to your nominated account. 
• You are paid by the 28th of the month (after submitting Attendance Sheets and Progress Reports)
